Notes
- Kate was the second child and first daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Catherine Ann "Kate"(Notestine) Hall. She had two brothers, John and James and a younger sister Eliza.
In 1866 the family moved to Wisconsin. On November 21, 1869, Kate married William Crook, son of John and Charlotte (Searls) Crook. Of this union there were four children born - William Franklin, Minnie Ethel, Rose A. and Fred.
