Notes
- Death certificate of Gola lists surname of Gaines, but there is a marriage record for William E. and Laura Caldwell in Delta, Texas, from the correct time period. Also found another forum that says Caldwell and that William's parents are Alfred and Nancy that are on the next page in the 1900 census, so I think it is probable that this is the correct entry.

born in Tennessee married Laura Bell Gaines born Aug 25, 1869 Kentucky (Montgomery Co.) they came to Texas at around
Delta Co. Ben Franklin Texas. had around seven children. They lived in Ben Franklin, Roxton, Enloe, Harton, Campbell,
Lone Oak Texas and also had lived in Hugo Ok.His first wife was Annie they had a daughter Maggie He is my Grandfather

-My Laura Belle Gaines was born 1868 in Kentucky (Montgomery County) Married William Ed Bailey around 1891. Lauras' Mother is named Martha (She lived in Indian Territory) I found some letters that her Mother sent to Laura and they were addressed to Caddo IT in around 1900-03. Also her sisters letters to her.
I believe their names were Sallie, Jennie. Thanks so much for answering. I emailed a reply to you but It did not go Thanks again. She might have been married before William. Also when William died she married a J. T. Cox
His nickname was Wille Ed Bailey that is what he went by. When he Left Tenneesse
he went to Oklahoma and was the Sheriff of Oklahoma Territory. His fathers name is Alford Bailey
