On the motion of William Emmons it is ordered that Morias Jacobs pay him 75 pounds of tobacco for 3 days attendance as a witness for him at the suit of Joseph Fant.

Note: Joseph Fant was born to William Fant in Stafford Co. Va. and married Hannah Lewis. Joseph's brother, George, was the father of Nelson Fant, commissioner for the estate settlement of Joseph Emmons II in Fleming Co. Ky. in 1829.
